Donna was an incredible host. She gave us a tour of the restaurant and told us about the piano bar lounge and how great it was. Even gave us a tip on when to come. Chris was a great waiter. Very delightful! Can't wait to come for the music. Thanks a bunch...

What an AMAZING PLACE! My hubbie and I and two dear friends finally got to experience the Colonel Club!! We did small plates in the lounge which was what we set out to do. We walked in and the lounge was PACKED. We did not let this deter us. The cozy ambiance was truly mesmerizing! As we maneuvered “the crowd” we stumbled upon the “parlor/cove” behind the piano. Quaint, private tastefully decorated and comfortable. Setting the stage for a PERFECT AND MEMORABLE night. Upon inquiring at the bar, the bartender/ server, Soraya, took over and gave us 200% service. She was caring, friendly, kind and attentive to every detail making us feel as though we were the only people in her care. As far as the small plates offered, I don’t think you can make a wrong choice. We shared a Royal Red(subbed w/cocktail shrimp), Thai lettuce wraps and Crispy Brussel Sprouts. Each was skillfully prepared to be a tasteful and satisfying culinary delight! Rusty Yates, is the perfect musician to highlight and complete “your mom’s 1939 living room” experience! Rich and inviting, The Colonel Club lounge is a Baton Rouge Gem!!

We spent our anniversary dinner at this restaurant and was a pleasant experience. Short wait for the food and it was delicious. Our server was fantastic, always checking on us and making sure that we were well taken care of. We will be returning for sure. This was actually our 2nd visit but didn’t leave a review the first time; now I can say that food quality and service has been consistently great.

We had an amazing dining experience on 2/15/25. From start to finish our dinner was a 15/10. We ordered the Brussels sprouts, meatballs, and lettuce wraps and all were phenomenal. I ordered the fish romesco and my husband got the shrimp picatta. Both were so fresh and one of the best meals we’ve ever had. The drinks were also amazing. I cannot recommend this place enough for an intimate, beautiful, and delicious dining experience!

Took my wife here for our 22nd Anniversary and boy did it NOT disappoint. Everything from the entrance to the dessert was amazing. The attention to detail was unbelievable. I had a Baked Alaskan cocktail and it was amazing. Perfect fusion cooking of appetizers and entrees. The desserts from a local baker topped it all off. If you are looking for a place that is not the same ole same ole. Go check it out

I’m so excited for the Colonel’s Club. This was my first visit. I have not been able to get in because it has been so difficult with reservation restrictions at night. I was able to get in for a late lunch today. The chicken lettuce wraps had real deal chicken which I appreciated very much. At other places it’s more like a mulch and this was deconstructed. Nice touch. The cauliflower... Wow !! The pictures don’t do it justice. Perfectly cooked. Not too tender not to al dente. A nice dipping sauce on the side as well. In the restaurant business, you are at the next level when you were doing things that cannot be replicated at your house. This is what I experienced today. In particular, I’m talking about the colonel’s club sandwich as well as the fish that I had today. The grilled fish romesco (Bass fish of the day) was served over blistered vegetables, cauliflower puree, charred onions, pecan romesco. I wish my pictures would show the color contrasts !!! The colors were diverse for the sauces yellow and orange !! The Colonel’s club sandwich was a fried shrimp, apple smoked bacon, crushed avocado, lettuce, tomato, house pickle, colonel's sauce on texas toast. That bread was truly artisan. Light tender and airy. Huge shrimp that were so tender, which is tough to do. Lots of talk about 2 million spent on the decor. Well, let me tell you they got their moneys worth, and it is a site to see. The bathrooms were so impressive. The decor was top-tier. I think one of the reasons it cost so much was the amount of square footage. The private dining table in the private room was so impressive. I was able to get a sneak peek between cleanings. The quiet spaces around the bar area are so quaint. You need to check it out. Very impressive coffee machine. The fireplace was a nice touch. You definitely need to get by and check it out when you can. Parking was not an issue as I parked under the overpass and it was not a long walk. At night, I would try to Uber to make things easier and also don’t be in a hurry when you go. This place is top-tier. The food seems to be made to order so you want to respect those time constraints. Rumor has it that there may be some paid parking in the vicinity as long-term plans. The plans may include a walking path to the garden district. Seems like there is a lot going on in that area. Happy dining !!

The restaurant is beautiful. The food is amazing. We had the meatballs as the appetizer and the texture was so soft. The red sauce had the perfect mix of favor. The bread was crispy on the edges and wonderfully soft in the middle. I had the lamb shank and it was cooked perfectly and so delicious. My girlfriend has the short rib bolognese. The portion size was incredible, she had so much short rib and the noodles were fresh. The vegetables had a marvelous char and the cocktails are delicious. The hostess gave us a full tour b/c it was our first time here. The wait staff are super friendly and very attentive. We will be coming back again and bringing friends.

What's nice about this place is they have a large bar area that is separate from the restaurant. The bartenders are excellent and some nights there is a piano man! He will sing Happy Birthday to someone if you ask The restaurant was great and the food is fabulous! We tried most of the appetizers and you can't go wrong with any of them. The whipped ricotta is to die for!!
